More Than Just Service…

A Rotaract Club is more than just a community service club. It is part of a global effort to bring peace and international understanding to the world. This effort starts at the community level, but it knows no limits in its outreach.

Are you thinking.. “but surely a club that does community service must be boring!?” If so, then think again! Remember, we’re 18-30’s. We’re young and energetic… and resourceful!

Members work together to create and organise what we do in our community. We aim to make involvement 100% flexible, meaning members can fit their participation around their busy schedules and they only need to work on projects that interest them. That might mean brainstorming ideas over breakfast, choosing projects that are hands-on rather than just money-raising, and planning details over a drink and a meal at an inner city pub!

Our goal is to continue to be an awesome club that you want to help grow and develop… so come and get involved! We’re young people out there making a difference in our community. With your involvement, we can make an even greater difference!

You Get What You Give…

What you put into our club will determine what you will get out of it. Events and activities are an opt-in basis. That means that you choose the level of commitment and activity that you have with Rotaract.

Young Professionals have a hectic life often trying to balance study, work, and a social life! The Sydney City Rotaract Club understands this can be can be difficult, particularly in a day and age when working 9 to 5 just isn’t always an option, and even more so when many of us are at the beginning end of our careers. So, if that means you can’t attend a particular meeting, event or activity, it’s no sweat! Just keep in touch with us.
